Anycubic Mega S - Fan holder for bed cooling
thingiverse
Based on the idea of a RAM Mount from @Unstuck, I created a fan holding assembly for hot bed cooling after a print. The fan mounting part was designed specifically for a 92x92mm fan (in my case a Noctua nf-a9x14-pwm). For controlling the fan, I utilize an RPi Output paired with an IRF520 Mosfet and the enclosure plugin. I personally designed the electronic circuit, but you can acquire assembled IRF520 modules from Amazon or Chinese dealers for approximately 1€ or less. Additionally, I developed a g-code that triggers at the end of each print to move the bed in Y 205mm forward, then automatically starts the fan via the plugin. My mounting part is only compatible with the "Mega S" due to its reliance on the original metal filament holder as the mounting surface. Screw holes for fan attachment are approximately 4mm in diameter, making it simple to create threads without needing any nuts. The knob used was originally intended for a M5 nut but, given its slightly tighter fit with my printer's hex, I can employ it effectively with a M4 screw.
