Anycubic Mega S Fan Duct

### Idea After printing my first fan duct, which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4168105, I encountered some issues, so I designed a new one from scratch. I measured the dimensions to get an accurate estimate and started fresh. ### Problem 1: The first problem was with assembly, a common issue with many fan ducts. The standard fan comes with two small tubes that act as spacers, ensuring a gap between the fan and housing. Mounting the fan/fan duct without removing other parts is fiddly and annoying. I designed a holder for the fan to eliminate the need for these spacers. This makes assembly much easier and provides additional support for the fan/fan duct. My "spacer" has the same width as the standard one, so it doesn't obstruct any critical components of the fan. ### Problem 2: The second issue I faced was the gap between the fan duct and bed clamps. In my opinion, the fan duct was too low to safely print the first layers without constant monitoring. To address this, I raised the bottom slightly. ### Problem 3: The holes for mounting the fan duct were weak and prone to breaking, which compromised their ability to hold securely. I reinforced them by adding a tube-like shape with a radius, also widening the piece slightly. ### General Shape I designed the ring and its connection to the fan from scratch, resulting in a clean and robust design. However, there is one critical point: the two long fan mounts can be brittle due to layer orientation. To avoid this issue, it's essential not to bend them excessively. I plan to improve this aspect in future revisions. I positioned the holes on the bottom to allow for optimal airflow just under the nozzle, thereby cooling the print rather than the nozzle itself. ### Compatibility This design is compatible with any fan that has the same dimensions as the standard one (45x45x10.4). ### Update This is my third printed version, and it works well so far. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvement, please let me know. If you like this design, please post a make/comment below. ### Edit: I added a V2 with slightly modified "air holes," but I haven't tested it yet.
