Anycubic Mega S 60MM Main Board Fan Bracket
thingiverse
Just a very simple bracket to mount a common 60x10MM fan for the mainboard in an Anycubic Mega S. Uses stock hardware locations, clears original stepper drivers. No major disassembly other than removing the bottom plate of the printer is required. Longer 3mm hardware is recommended as the originals are very short. To print: Use a stiff filament such as PLA, ABS or PETG. Print as oriented in the model, no supports are required. Set infill to about 20%, vertical walls to 5. To install: Clear the 4 mounting holes using a drill bit sized for 3mm metric threads and tap through. Remove the printer bottom cover (10 screws, 8 on bottom plate, 2 on wiring bracket). Remove old fan, unplug wiring from board, remove old bracket, install new bracket using longer 3mm screws (2), install new fan onto bracket using appropriately long 3mm screws (and washers if required), plug in fan connector, tidy up cabling, reinstall printer bottom cover and wiring bracket. NOTE: Make certain that the fan clears the stepper drivers - if it hits for some reason, use washers as spacers between the fan and bracket. Make sure you orient your new replacement fan in the correct direction - usually the label will be toward the mounting bracket.
