The leadscrews have a belt to sync them together, and it's only running one Z axis stepper motor. 24V for the heated bed, while the rest of the printer is 12v. The Y axis is from a CR10. The X axis is just a 2020 v-slot aluminum extrusion profile. //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------// Mega i3 aluminum extrusion conversion mounts for the X and Y axis, similar to a Mega X. I wanted to add a 300x300mm bed to the existing mega i3 frame without too much modding. I like the V-slot aluminum design for easy customization. The X axis is pretty stable as well on the Z smooth rods. Note the entire print area is moved forward quite a bit, which covers up the touchscreen. Also, drilling into the sheet metal is involved for the Y axis. Mount screws are M5 and need sliding M5 nuts for the aluminum extrusion.
