Here's a super-simple 2-file overhead light that utilizes an IKEA STÖTTA touch light - specifically the small 3" version, which costs just $7.99. You can find it here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40277138/ All you need to do is print out the disc and three of the arms. Next, remove the twist-lock backing plate from the light and superglue it securely to the underside of the disc. Then, feed the arms through the disc slots and mount it on top of the rails. The disc needs some support - but that's about it. This results in a very nice simple, easily removable overhead light that's touch activated and incredibly easy to change batteries with.
