Anycubic Kossel Top Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
This thing is a top-mounted belt tensioner which allows you to adjust the tightness of timing belts using screws. You can lift up the top belt wheel for about 7mm. If you put the timing belt in slightly during assembly, you will never need the full 7mm. In my case, I only needed about 2mm. These also serve as covers for upper pulleys. The belt tensioners are made of two parts: a housing and a slider. For all three belts on the Kossel, you need these two parts three times. You will also have to replace the belt because the position of the upper belt wheel is about 15mm higher mounted. So the original belt is too short...unless you have left some extra length on the original timing belt. To assemble it, you'll need (for all three sides): - Three longer timing belts (about 40mm longer than the original one) - Twelve pieces of screws M4x8mm - Twelve pieces of T-nuts M4 - Nine pieces of screws M3x20mm - Fifteen pieces of M3 nuts There are two versions of the covers to download: Version 1.0 is without logos, signs and text. Version 1.1 has countersunk adjusting screws, direction arrows, +/- signs, deltalogo, and min/max scale. These two versions work exactly the same; the only difference is visual. Please don't stretch the belt too much - a little more than with the original springs is enough. To straighten all three belts the same way, listen to the tensioners with your ear and peck at the belts like a guitar until the tone is equal.
