Anycubic Kossel Tentacle Cooling Duct I've been saying for ages that a superior blower is more crucial for this printer than an upgraded cooling duct, but I'm still trying to create a better duct. This one's my latest attempt. From certain angles, it looks like a one-armed octopus, which is why I called it that. The Mk1 looked even more like an octopus until I realized it wouldn't fit the auto height adjustment module, so I cut some off. Goals: To see if I can create a duct that's actually an improvement. With this in mind, here are my intentions for this one: -Designed with minimal filament and printing time -Good, directed air flow -Attachment using all four factory mounting holes -Fits as high up on the head as possible to allow for lots of clearance -A neater design than my previous attempts -Open to further modification The Mk5 version posted here is my current cooling duct, and so far it's doing a great job. I designed it with some back pressure in mind to really get air flowing well. This should also give it an advantage over the stock cooler when combined with a better blower - check out my Better Blower thingy. I hope this proves useful for someone; let me know if you have any suggestions.
