Edit 27.5.2020 For those who can't print long models (280 mm), I cut tool to three easy-to-print pieces, then glue them together to make it. One of the most useful upgrades for my Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus is new rods with zero backlash and they are very light. One rod weighs just 9 g. The original one is 21 g. So saving is 6 x 12 = 72 g on moving parts! The result is that with my other lightweight effector, you can save another 60-70 g so total saving is about 130-140 g on moving parts. And this is already visible in printed results as much less or nearly zero ringing. You need: 6 pieces of 240 mm 6/4 mm carbon rods (Aliexpress, many suppliers) 2x pack of 6pcs ball joints type 2467 B: https://mpjet.com/shop/gb/ball-7-mm-dia/1295-ball-link-v1-type-7-mm-dia-m43-short.html or type 2465B and use original brass rivets as spacers. 12 x M4x20 mm DIN 913 or similar I choose distance axis to axis 270 mm instead of the original weird number 267 mm. So tweaking of printer parameters are needed, or you can build them exactly 267 mm as original. I screw screws into the endings about 7-8 mm inside, it goes very tight because they don't have pre-cut thread. It is self-fixating enough. On the rods I glued the ends then with 5 min epoxy Loctite LE 3450. For assembly I was using the same tool, so I am sure all rods are exactly the same because it's very important for delta printer kinematic accuracy. Mounting holes are 3 mm so it fits factory screws and factory brass spacers. Ringing comparison before change rods and effector and after modification is shown at the picture.
