Another handy add-on for any Kossel or delta printer featuring a 2020 framework. Recently, my effector wiring loom got snagged on an object on my desk, ruining the print in progress. I had spotted one of these cable masts on Thingiverse before but couldn't find it when I needed it, so here's my own attempt to create something similar. This design attaches to the lower frame rails with two M4 x 6mm cap head screws and a pair of M4 T-nuts. A guide block keeps the mast straight while also guiding the effector wiring loom through a groove that exits at the top, where it's secured by six M3 x 6mm or 8mm screws. This design isn't rocket science, but if it helps prevent another printer owner from dealing with a tangled mess of wires, then my work won't be wasted. Note: The cable mast shown in the pictures is a four-screw version. After printing, I noticed that the cover tended to bulge slightly at its center, so I revised the design and added two more screws there for extra support. The cover was printed with Esun PLA+, but when I ran out of material, I had to print the mast using Ziro PLA, which didn't impress me much.
