Anycubic Kossel E3D mount with 30mm and radial fan mount
thingiverse
This part is replacing the original hotend mount on the Anycubic Kossel effector. The original mount weighs about 56 grams for the mount and cleat alone, making it an effective way to reduce moving mass significantly. Work continues on this project as the hotend is currently mounted with its lower fins in the effector. However, proper cooling of these fins may be compromised due to their placement. Additionally, the larger heating block requires that the longer part face you during installation, which means the auto-leveing sensor will no longer function properly. The presented mount accommodates a 30mm fan for the hotend, allowing it to fit snugly with a simple click into place. A radial fan inlet is also provided on the back of the mount. Although the design does not currently include a fan mount, one is planned to be added soon to minimize printing time. The top of the mount fits seamlessly with the E3D mount, and a counterpart screw design is in development. All holes are 3mm in diameter, making it essential to use a screw to cut the thread instead of relying on nuts for installation. Installation Instructions: * Insert the E3D v6 into the effector from underneath, ensuring that the longer part of the heat block faces you. * Press the top part of the mount firmly onto the hotend's mounting system. * Carefully move up and position the cage, securing it with the left screws from below the effector. * Install the fan for the hotend by gently clipping it into place using the flexible right side of the cage. * Insert the remaining screws and tighten all of them securely. * Once complete, you are done.
