DISCLAIMER: This design is still under development and subject to changes. Some parts may require manual adjustments to fit on the printer. Here's my take on the Anycubic Kossel head body with a retractable bed sensor, based on the Linear Plus version I have. The design keeps most of the original parts intact and doesn't modify the assembly. Additional components needed include a 3010 fan (similar to those found in Chinese E3D j-head clones), a standard microswitch (without its lever), and an RC micro servo (using MG90s, but SG90 should also work). It's essential to replace the M3x8 screws holding the body over the effector with M3x12 (M3x15 might fit too). The head fan has been relocated to make room for the sensor mechanism. For now, the hole for securing the servo must be drilled by hand or the servo glued onto the body. I'm actively working on finding a suitable solution for the retraction system, and I welcome any suggestions you may have. *** UPDATE 10/10/2017 *** The 3D-printed slider has been removed due to assembly issues and inaccuracy. A new version with a BLTouch mount has been added. The sensor is positioned at 0mm or -25.5mm (relative to the nozzle). PLEASE NOTE: For this version, you'll need to modify the original effector by grinding or drilling about 6mm on the opposite side of the radial fan. Feel free to reach out if you require any adjustments for your specific Z height setting; the one used here fits my printer but might differ slightly from yours.
