When the filament needs to bend into a "U" shaped curve, as shown in the picture above, the standard setup causes too much friction, leading to skipped steps. To reduce friction significantly, I tried several solutions. Initially, I attempted using a small circular pulley, but the U curve was too tight, resulting in persistent friction and slight filament stretching. Moving forward, I realized that a wider curve would be more effective, so I created an oval-shaped design. This new setup has greatly improved filament flow, allowing it to slide smoothly along the path. As a beginner in 3D printing, this project is my first contribution to this amazing community.
