Anycubic Kobra Neo Filament Trash Tub
thingiverse
Well, is this a remix? I grabbed the idea to have a trash tub outside of the built plate underneath the place where the Anycubic Kobra Neo (my new printer) dumps its filament trash when loading a filament or purging the nozzle at the start of the print. I printed [Thing 5505717](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5505717) but I had to find out that it goes to far under the built plate and collides with the electrical connector to the heated bed when the built plate moves forward. So I decided to do my own design. In comparison to 5505717 I made the side which extends under the built plate steeper so that the filament pieces easier fall all the way to the bottom of the trough, while at the same time the shallower open side makes emptying easier. I added "clip-on" feet which snap into the V grooves of the 40x20 aluminum extrusion and I made the trough shorter since it does not need to extend all the way to the front - the nozzle will never move in this direction anyway. The modelling is done - as usual for me - in OpenSCAD, using the [Bezier library for OpenScad by gaellafond](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2170645)
