12.4.21 I've added a test print showing the layer surface, so it doesn't look like any Z banding is occurring. I also look at the factory endstop switch and there's no clearance for the bottom mount for it. The Z endstop switch will have to be repositioned if you want to use to bottom mount. //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------// 11.27.21: Just noticed that the Z endstop switch is in the way of the bottom bearing mount. I'll have to update the mount for the endstop in a future update, once I finish up this build. //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------// Z axis leadscrew anti wobble for the i3 mega. It's a two piece design inspired by other designs found on thingiverse. The top piece clips right on easier with the leadscrew removed, a bit harder to put on with the leadscrew on. The Z wobble comes from the coupler grub screws that tighten the leadscrew. Hopefully the two bearing design will eliminate that. A solid couple that clamps around the leadscrew is much better at limiting the wobble, similar to that found on creality machine couplers. I'm still putting my machine back together with the mods I'm doing to it, so I haven't tested it yet. Seems very solid though. The bottom screws are M3x10mm with a washer. The top just clips on. Bearings are 22mm 608 skateboard bearings.
