Anycubic i3 Mega - Y-Axis Rod Bearing Block with Threads
thingiverse
A simple test in OpenSCAD simulates parts near the heatbed plate. The ultimate goal is creating a mount for a cable chain on the Y-axis and other internal components within the housing. However, it appears that OpenSCAD struggles to handle real threads beyond a tiny scale. The thread part of my SCAD file heavily relies on the free downloadable "threads.scad" from http://dkprojects.net/openscad-threads/, which I don't fully comprehend. I merely created the raw form of the bearing block. This isn't intended for printing, but rather as part of upgrading my Anycubic i3 Mega. It's a work in progress.
