Anycubic I3 Mega Vibration Isolator Feet, now featuring new and improved HOLES
thingiverse
I hollowed out the center and added holes to the sides, eliminating the need for printed walls and incorporating various tweaks. I employed standard TPU settings with the newly designed (NEW AND IMPROVED HOLES), resulting in a much spongier material than before. These feet serve as effective vibration isolators. Printed in TPU, they work remarkably well, providing a firmer feel than squash ball feet. However, I deemed squash balls too squishy for optimal performance. Installing these feet requires no tools; simply place the feet under the printer to cover the original hard rubber feet. These feet elevate the printer from its stock height by 18mm, also increasing airflow underneath the printer. During testing, I began with a hole in the center but found that even with two walls, the vertical stiffness of the screw column was compromised. Consequently, I modified the design to include infill throughout the entire center.
