Since 2018, hundreds of i3 Mega owners downloaded and used my cable guide version 1 which worked great but came with one major flaw: The maximum build height was reduced to about 197mm.\r\n\r\nNow, I finally redesigned the guide, keeping all its benefits while eliminating its drawbacks.\r\n\r\nThe result is smoother, sleeker and fits perfectly than its predecessor. Also, the holding force for the cable has been improved, allowing easy removal without slipping off.\r\nAnd, of course, it allows you to use your i3 Mega's full build height. In my tests, I could raise the head as high as 208mm from the build plate and the cable guide was still not a problem! \r\nYou need to make sure that the printer's frame edges do not damage your cables near the plug when moving on x-Axis at that height!\r\n\r\nBefore printing, read the printing section below carefully.
