Piercet's original guide seemed like the most straightforward way to position the bed cable just right, given my concerns about the heated bed cable snapping like others had experienced. Because the cable was aligned with the Y-axis pully, I needed to secure the guide to keep it from shifting off-center. That's why I added a 3mm hole for a thumb screw. I removed the lower cover panel to cut the zip tie and pulled more heated bed cable up to the top. This allowed the cable to move in a better direction, hopefully reducing the risk of the cable breaking at some point. To secure the guide against the Y-axis frame, I used an old PC case thumb screw. Just make sure it's lined up to miss the drive pulley for the Y-axis motor.
