I'd like to swap out my existing Filament Sensor for the Trianglelab filament runout sensor. You can find it on AliExpress, at the Trianglelab shop. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32829808063.html I connected the Sensor to my OCTOPRINT Raspberry Pi 3B and used it with the "Filament Sensor Reloaded" Plugin. I set the pin to 24 (GPIO 5) in BCM Mode, so that the printer pauses when the filament runs out. All parts were printed using PLA and PETG. --------------------------------------- Print Notes: --------------------------------------- - Infill: 99% - Print settings: 0.2mm --------------------------------------- GCODE Scripts OctoPrint Setup Notes: ######################################## M117 Print PAUSED G91; set relative positioning G1 Z20; move extruder up G1 E-1 F1800; retract filament slightly to avoid drips ######################################### ######################################### M117 Print RESUMED G91; set relative positioning G1 Z-20; move extruder down G1 F1800; slightly to avoid drips #########################################
