Anycubic i3 MEGA top bracket for TUSH
thingiverse
When you've already got the TUSH on your Anycubic i3 MEGA 3D printer and want it mounted atop the frame of the printer, this bracket comes in handy. Of course, you can easily modify it to attach to other printers as well. You can also glue them together to create a single holder for each side of the spool or use them straight out. Once it's on top, the TUSH is securely held in place. You can detach it with ease to adjust to different spool sizes. I just noticed that the bearing on the TUSH rolls smoothly, making it a breeze for the motor to pull the filament. In fact, it's even lighter than the original spool holder that came with the printer, and you won't need a filament guide with this setup either. As the spool rolls while the filament is being pulled out, I didn't notice any vibrations due to the bearings, so there's no unwanted movement affecting print quality. The filament sensor, held by a magnet and secured with a ball joint, can be easily repositioned to face towards the right front side where it receives the filament from the top. With an enclosure like mine, the new location of the filament keeps it warm and in good condition all the time while printing. If you only print with PLA or don't use any enclosure, the PLA material for the bracket is more than sufficient.
