This is a custom enclosure for the Gardner Bender GSW-41 switch that mounts to the AnyCubic i3 Mega. The enclosure clips into the voltage switch hole, allowing users to toggle between 110 and 220 volts with ease. Most people only set this switch once and never use it again, but I found an alternative solution by using the space in the gap between the outer case and power supply to run wires. I utilize this custom enclosure to control my unique LED lighting setup on and off. By mounting the box to the printer's casing, I can easily connect custom wiring to the internal power supply, eliminating the need for any modifications or drilling holes. The enclosure was originally designed with a bottom, but I removed it due to several reasons: easier support removal, concealment of the bottom when installed, reduced material usage, access to switch wiring if needed, and the option to run wires out the bottom. In my setup, the wires that power the LED strip exit through the bottom of the box. To improve appearance, a small piece of black wire loom can be used to conceal these wires. Since my LED strip is attached to the Z-axis using adhesive, I plan to install bullet connectors behind the front of the Z-axis for easy disconnection. Please note that this switch is technically an AC switch and may not meet DC rating standards. While I used it successfully, I make no guarantees about its safety or reliability. Users are advised to exercise caution when utilizing this design. I sourced my switch from Canadian Tire (item number 052-6974-0), but similar products can be found on Amazon and at various American retailers. As long as the replacement switch matches the standard 0.55" x 1.125" cut-outs, it should work seamlessly in this application. Printed with a 0.2 layer height using supports.
