Anycubic i3 Mega side extruder mount and cable management
thingiverse
I tried Alpharic's side extruder mount but had problems with the fit. The screw holes didn't match up with those on the printer and the fit was quite loose. It was unusable for me, so I was surprised to see that several other people had success with it. My design is similar to Alpharic's, just a better fit without the second support piece which I think is unnecessary. Even though there are only two screws holding it on, it is surprisingly sturdy. You can reuse the stock screws, but you will need a couple of 7mm M4 nuts to hold the extruder in place. With the extruder in a new position, something had to be done about the cabling so I've included a couple of cable guides in the downloads section as well. A link to another one of my cable guides for the hot end can be found below. If you print these parts, please leave a comment or post your make sharing your experience, especially if you run into issues. This way I can fix anything or make changes if need be.
