Anycubic i3 Mega (S) Heat-Gun holder and base

This is a heat-gun base/holder that can be clipped onto the top of the Mega (S) frame. It's intended to be paired with some kind of shroud (like a sturdy heat-resistant bag, or chamber) to create a heated environment. A heated environment will make it easier to print with materials such as ABS and PC. It's sturdy enough to hold my heat-gun, but if you attach anything heavy, you might want to consider raising the infill or adding a counterweight. You may need to modify the radius of the hole in this holder to fit your own heat-gun. As for the shroud, I recommend you pull it through the holder and provide an opening for the heat-gun. I will update this page when I finish my heated chamber set-up, to provide additional instructions. This project can also be re-purposed! For example, if you replace the holder with a webcam mount, it would provide you with a nice birds-eye view of the print. You could also add a lamp fitting instead, and add some lighting to your printer. There is decent clearance in the provided model for a variety of changes. You're of course welcome to customize the CAD file and publish (or not publish) your changes. I have included a .step file and an Autodesk Fusion 360 project file.
