Anycubic i3 Mega-S 5015 dual side fan duct
thingiverse
I created this 5015 fan duct for the Anycubic i3 because I wasn't really happy with the printing results that I got with the original parts cooler and all the existing 5015 fan duct designs on Thingiverse were not really how I wanted to have it. The fan on this design is mounted so that it sits centered behind the hotend meaning it doesn't hit the extruder stepper on the right side (which is a pretty common problem on other designs that I found here). The fanduct has extra sturdy mounts so that it doesn't flex too much and can't accidentally hit the printed part. The screwholes allow for some up- and down adjustment to get the perfect height above the part. For mounting the fan to the duct a m3x25 screw and an m3 nut are requried. To mount the fanduct the hotend has to be rotated by 90 degrees so that the heating element faces forward in the printer head! The default position with the heating element on the right side does NOT work! ----- Flow simulation made with SimScale https://simscale.com
