Another upgrade to silence AnyCubic I3 printer. This extruder side panel enables mounting Gelid Solutions Silent 5 (and other 50 mm x 50 mm x 15 mm) fans as upper hotend coolers at stock printheads of AnyCubic I3 Mega Ultrabase printers. Printhead width increases by ~8 mm due to fan thickness, but remains within printing range for the whole printbed. For this modification, you'll need a 50 mm fan (up to 15 mm thick) with standard fan screws, the fan plug (I used one from the original fan), and two screws: M3x6 and M3x8. The frame was printed using 0.15 layer thickness with NX2 PLA from Extruder. Upcoming prints will demonstrate if PLA can withstand heat.
