Human Version 3 includes a bearing block with a slotted design for easy adjustments. Since I don't have an E3Dv6, I haven't been able to test it yet, but reinforced materials were added due to concerns that the cutout might weaken the mount. In contrast, Version 2 still functions well with PLA, although it lacks the cutout feature. To create a more efficient cooling system for the i3 MEGA Ultrabase, consider using a rear 40mm fan as a blower duct. Additionally, you may want to replace noisy fans in the base with quieter alternatives. I used two Scythe Mini Kaze SY124010L fans to cool the stepper drivers. To make this work, simply use the original fan screws and plug, along with included adapters to create a Y-adapter. The Scythe SY602012L will also fit the PSU, while the SY124010L can be used for both the hotend blower and one of the other fans, making three 4010s in total. For the rear blower, I chose a 4015 size to increase airflow, but you may find that a 4010 actually works just fine. Update: On November 25th, I added an optional side cover and duct to the design. This uses the same screws as the original mount, but places them on the inside for better stability. The nuts can be used for the rear blower, although you will need longer screws like M3x7 or M3x8. The 50x15 v2 design has one notable issue: the fan sticks out to the right side by about 8 mm, limiting its ability to move fully to the right of the bed unless the mount is modified.
