Anycubic i3 Mega Quiet Filament Cooler v1.0 ______________________________________________________________________ Warning: This cooler is specifically designed for the V6 hotend and will not fit the original V5 hotend, which is slightly shorter. You can modify your V5 hotend by removing the lower two cooling fins. The filament cooling system on the i3 Mega and i3-Mega S is quite loud out of the box, so here's a simple solution. You'll need the following items for installation: - Printed Filament Cooler - 2x M4x30 mm screws - Radial fan with standard connector 27x20 mm Installation Steps: 1. Replace the lower screws on the linear bearings with longer M4x30 mm screws. 2. Simply slide the printed cooler onto the two protruding screws (Filament_cooler.stl) or secure it with additional M4 nuts (Filament_cooler_with_nut.stl). 3. Insert the fan into the opening and secure it with adhesive if necessary. 4. You're done!
