Anycubic i3 Mega PSU cover for fan 100x15mm
thingiverse
I do not carry any responsibility if the thing doesn't work for you. This is a PSU cover for Anycubic i3 Mega to replace the default fan with a 100x15mm fan. It appeared to be a tight fit, with only a millimeter clearance from the induction coil. I added corner support and mounted the fan using the bundled screws. When I attached the fan to the fan socket, it didn't work, so I discovered that it's controlled through a thermistor. To check, I heated the board below the transformer with a hair dryer, and it turned on immediately. Also, the stock M3 bolt of the printer lid was sticking out too far, which meant the fan might touch it, so I put some shims under it to create more space. Overall, I'm satisfied with the design, but my fan is not as quiet as I had hoped. I would say it's about 30% quieter than the default one.
