Anycubic i3 Mega Orbiter Direct Drive Adaptor

Very simple way to install direct drive on Anycubic i3 Mega. Just print this plate adaptor and use 2x M3 screws and nuts to attach Orbiter v1.5 on top of printer head. No other hw modification required. This is the cheapest way to start printing TPU/TPE on your i3 Mega! You'll need following steps: 1) Cut PTFE tube about 1.5cm of hotend edge to fit in Orbiter output hole 2) Insert 2x M3 nuts in adaptor plate 3) Screw adaptor plate to printing head with 2x M3 screw of hotend (2 of 4) 4) Screw orbiter on top of printerf head 5) Remove stock extruder (optinoal) 6) Witre Orbiter to stock extruder's plug using dupont lines (see matching colors on photo) 7) Open printer's bottom cover and adjust E0 driver voldage to Vref = 0.5 8) Adjust firmware parmeters using g-code comments (via octoprint or other term) a) steps/mm b) feed rate c) max current d) max accel 9) Calibrate feed rate (teaching tech instruction is the best) Due to extra height of extruder maximum Z size is droped to 173mm
