Anycubic i3 Mega Octopi holder for right z-axis
thingiverse
I decided to attach my Raspberry Pi-Zero to the Z-Axis, allowing it to move along with the print. The right Z-Axis sheet metal frame on my printer has a 10mm hole at the front that can be used to secure a clip. This clip is then used to mount an adjustable arm that moves the Raspberry to a safe distance from the X-Axis carriage. Finally, a holder for the Raspberry chassis is screwed to the arm. I utilized Thing 2328261 as a case for my Raspberry W Zero. Beware The projects are still in progress and have plenty of room for improvement. I used very small M3 screws (4 - 5 mm) that I had on hand; longer screws cannot be used since they will hit the frame. The holder for the case is currently too weak; it needs to be redesigned with a longer screw if one wants to avoid superglue or other "solutions". Let me know what you think or remix the thing right away. Fusion360 design can be made available but it isn't pretty. Update * I moved the arm 1 mm away from the chassis * I made the holder much more massive * I turned around screw and hex nut of holder (you'll need M3x30) * I tilted the holder 10 degrees for better view
