Anycubic i3 Mega Marlin LCD screen

**I made this thing for myself. However, if it helped you out, please consider a donation via http://bit.ly/Bart3d or the TIP DESIGNER button.** I designed this mount to replace the stock i3 Mega touch screen with a LCD screen that is supported by Marlin. Why? Because the i3 mega is a very capable printer but it runs a prehistoric version of Marlin. You cannot update the firmware via Marlins repository because the TFT runs closed source software so it is not supported by Marlin. You can flash (forks of) DerHopp's Marlin, like the DavidRamiro one. However, you will always be depending/ waiting of one person making the fork. And you are still missing some usefull features, like LCD configurable settings: - babystepping - manual mesh bed levelling - firmware retraction - jerk/ acceleartion/ junction deviation - linear advance - e-steps - pid tuning..... This specific mount is designed to use the Fysetc mini lcd. I've added a template (step file) you can use to attach other screens. The Fysetc plugs directly into the trigorilla board. It has a built in SD card reader, so you can remove the stock SD card adapter together with the TFT screen and the adapter that plugs into the trigorilla board. You can sell these parts, so this upgrade is basically free. After installation, you do need to compile your own version of Marlin. There are many tutorials how to do that. Have a look at the mentioned Marlin forks to look for specific settings. **Edit 1:** Added a slightly taller version (+5mm) for an easier grip on the sd card. You can use the normal version if you don't need access to the LCD's SD card. **Edit 2:** If you need to figure out the Trigorilla pinout, have a look here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3680634/files My i3 Mega designs are in this collection: https://www.thingiverse.com/bartolomeus/collections/anycubic-i3-mega Credits for the i3 Mega model: https://grabcad.com/vishal.kadia-1
