This versatile and convenient part can be easily attached to the right side z-axis stepper motor to safeguard the leadscrew. The fan that cools the filament as it's laid down can inadvertently blow small pieces of filament onto the right side leadscrew and end-stop, potentially causing them to malfunction over time. Duplicate this part in your slicer to ensure a seamless fit with the other stepper motor. I discovered that the bolts used to secure the stepper motor are slightly too short (M3 x 5mm), so I opted for M3 x 8mm bolts to get this guard to fit properly.
