A New Hotend Cover for Two Noctua Fans is Now Available. The Printer's Noise Levels Have Been Significantly Reduced - Thanks to a New Hotend Cover Designed Specifically for the Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX 40mm Fans. Before Installing this Custom Hotend Cover, the Printer Was Extremely Loud - But with the Improved Design, the Noise Has Become Much More Manageable. If You Download or Print This Custom Hotend Cover, Please Consider Giving Me a Like! It Took a Full Weekend to Complete. As Requested, I've Included Some Decibel Level Measurements Below: dBA before: 50 (average), 55 (peak) dBA after: 45 (average), 50 (peak) While the Numbers May Not Seem Like a Huge Improvement, the Difference is Night and Day - What Was Once an Unbearable Noise Level Has Become Barely Noticeable. For Reference, My K8200 Printer's Decibel Levels Are: dBA at 100% fan speed: 38 (average), 48 (peak) If You're Interested in Creating Your Own Custom Hotend Cover, Here is the BOM for This Project: 4 x M3x20 Screws (for fans and front plate) 2 x M3x6 Screws (for rear chassis support) 2 x M3x10 Screws (for top chassis support) 8 x M3 Nuts An Even Better Version of this Hotend Cover Can Be Found Here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3273723
