Anycubic I3 Mega Filament Spool Cap

Anycubic I3 Mega Filament Spool Cap

thingiverse

This is a spool cap that attaches directly to the Anycubic spool holder, designed to perfectly match the centre rod and filament spool. Without this attachment, the filament spool will continue to jerk when there's a filament pull. This innovative solution has resolved the problem and provides an incredibly smooth movement during the printing process, as demonstrated in the accompanying video. Six small tabs have been added to the cap to securely hold it in place. Additionally, three holes have been designed for easy removal of the cap. To utilize this spool cap effectively, you'll need to print a pair for each single filament spool. When paired with the Sensor Guide (available on Thingiverse as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2567386), the overall smoothness of the filament feeding has significantly improved, resulting in minimal sound other than the retraction process itself.
