Anycubic I3 Mega Filament Sensor Holder v2 Improved
thingiverse
Filament Sensor Mount for Anycubic I3 Mega. Replaces the magnetic ball component. Designed specifically for the latest version with a black sensor and cable plug located on the side. Refer to images. v1: Insert the sensor, then slide the bracket into place behind it, ensuring the sensor remains secure even without filament. UPDATE 31.12.2018: Happy New Year! A new version has been created, fully redesigned using Fusion360 software. v2: Several issues were addressed in this updated design. The sensor was prone to lifting out at the lower back during filament changes, and friction at the bottom made it difficult to remove the old filament. The rear bracket has been improved with a single M3x30mm screw and nut. Alternatively, you can print a pin and press-fit it; adjust the pin size as needed. Print at 20mm/s speed and low temperature settings. Additional features include sturdier back flaps and an enlarged viewing arch for better visibility. This design is significantly improved and prints without support. A small support was used in the viewing arch area to achieve a cleaner appearance.
