This upgrade is in addition to petrzmax's original post.\r\n\r\nWhen I switched to IGUS bushings, I noticed they didn't fit as tightly as my original linear bearings, but were much quieter overall.\r\n\r\nOn the hotend carriage, I kept the original double-holder on top and used a single on the bottom.\r\n\r\nUsing singles for the bed resulted in significant vibration and rotation of the bed during printing due to loose fitment to the slides.\r\n\r\nThis design lets you add extra bushings to both sides of the bed without limiting Y-travel distance, unlike using the original double holder.\r\n\r\nThe stiffness and rigidity of the bed are dramatically improved.\r\n\r\nCheck out the pictures for details on orientation.
