I recommend using V2, which I redesigned with a lower center of mass to help alleviate minor vibration defects that I was experiencing. I also hoped it would increase the Z print volume, but unfortunately, the I3 Megas frame still manages to get in the way. The current Z limit is about 140mm. I recommend using my PTFE lined extruder with this mod because it's designed to work in conjunction with the new mount and provide optimal flexible printing. If you're using the V2 Mount with the PTFE lined extruder, the total PTFE tube length should be exactly 100mm with the stock hotend. To get the most out of this setup, remember to adjust your retraction for the shorter distance between the extruder and hotend. This mount requires the use of the stock metal extruder mount. You'll need to reverse and rotate the bracket so the bolt holes are pointing towards the rear of the motor, and the motor plug is straight up. To assemble this mod, you'll need 2 M3 bolts and nuts to top-mount the extruder bracket to the adapter. You'll also need a PTFE tube about 115mm long to fit into the hot end and the extruder.
