WARNING: The stock electronics are not compatible with this modification, I replaced mine. About the Chimera: Printing with it has been problematic for me, frequently experiencing clogs with filaments that would normally flow smoothly through a standard hot end. Initially, I purchased a Chinese clone, but later opted for an authentic version which appears to perform slightly better. However, I'm still unsure what distinguishes the original from its clones, as neither seems obviously different in construction or inner workings. Support is provided for mounting an E3D Cyclops/Chimera to an Anycubic i3 Mega. One benefit of installing it sideways lies in access to the set screws on the heatsink's rear, allowing for fine-tuning of the hot end's Z offset when using the Chimera. For your convenience, I've produced the part in both left and right orientations, enabling you to choose the direction you prefer the heatsink fan to face. To complete the installation, you will require a drill to create a 4.5mm hole in the steel support for the second Bowden tube - a drill guide is provided as reference. For securing the mounting screws, four M3 square nuts are necessary: 1) Secure the heatsink to the printed part. 2) Attach the printed part to the printer carriage.
