Anycubic i3 Mega BLtouch Mount
thingiverse
My i3 Mega doesn't have the vent holes in the top like the other popular mount is designed for, so figured I need to make my own. Due to the way my printer is set up, I've a noctua fan and e3d v6, with the front open and the existing fan mounts were still there. Sure you could adapt it, the F360 and step files are uploaded. Designed to use heat set inserts for mounting from the outside. Using settings:
#define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -22 // X offset: -left +right [of the nozzle] #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -12 // Y offset: -front +behind [the nozzle] #define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -1.3 // Z offset: -below +above [the nozzle]
Your mileage may vary, but I'm getting perfect first layers now. Note, I had to raise the screws that trigger the limit switches for the z axis to allow the nozzle to dip just below the bed during regular homing before the z offset would work (end stops override it).
