This is a direct drive conversion mount for the following printers: - Anycubic Kobra max - Anycubic Kobra plus - Anycubic Vyper Parts needed: Bondtech LGX extruder www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099NXJKPY Extension cable www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QHTG82K (make sure the cables are in the correct order, look at the cable picture) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cut a 95mm section of boden tube (Shown in the picture), and side into the hot end BEFORE bolting on the extruder and mount. Print the mount, use (4) M3 screws, (2) washers and (2) nuts to bolt in place. ***** REMEMBER TO LOWER THE EXTRUDER VOLTAGE BEFORE PRINTING - DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK ****** The Bondtech LGX extruder works at a lower voltage than what is set stock on the Anycubic. So, you should be lowering to the recommended voltage or lower. To do this, you will need to flip your printer over, open the bottom and expose the motherboard. Use a voltmeter to read the voltage on the extruder, and lower it down. I set mine to 0.45V and its working fine for me. Though the motor is running a bit on the hot side but its under the temperature range. For example purposes: Here is a video showing how its done on a CR-6, start around the 10:00 mark. The process is very similar with the Anycubic printers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miW_zsX0tio&t=610s Printer profile: I suggest changing your retraction settings down to 1 or 2 mm's, the rest of your profile should be fine. Suggested printing parameters for the mount: Use support "Everywhere" 4 or 5 perimeters 8 top/bottom layers 50% infil
