Anycubic Chiron Y-Axis Cable Chain Mounts

Anycubic Chiron Y-Axis Cable Chain Mounts

thingiverse

I got a 10mm x 10mm (ID) cable chain off Amazon thinking it would be easy to print the end connectors and hook it up to my Chiron's y-axis cable, but upon further review I found the existing options on Thingiverse didn't work for the cable chain I bought. So I modified the chasis mount by eth4ck1e to fit my cable chain. After I connected that, I found the other end was still 'drooping' as it wasn't attached to anything on the other end. The existing mount options I found involved installing a piece under the heatbed, but I found it challenging to remove the heatbed rollers in order to install them. So I basically re-created the existing Chiron cable mount under the heatbed, and spliced on a cable chain female connector to it (again, remixed from eth4ck1e's file), sizing it to fit my cable chain dimensions. This allowed me to connect the chain to the underside of heatbed, using the existing 2 screws and nuts. The piece extending out from behind the connector is there to keep the chain straight, preventing it from bending backwards over the rail. Sorry for the sloppy model, I know it could use some cleanup, but it works as a direct replacement. Please Like add to your Collection if you found this useful! Thanks.
