Anycubic Chiron ultimate extruder module
cults3d
Hello all, Here are my optimization designs for my new Anycubic Chiron. I adore this printer, but I have reservations about the extruder and cooler block. So, I decided to modify them entirely. I created a complete block that you can use with your default 40x40 fan and original screws. However, please note that you'll need some spare screws in stock before attempting this upgrade. You will need to purchase a 50x50 24V radial fan specifically designed for this purpose. Check out the pictures to see the enhanced print quality after upgrading. The leveling sensor works seamlessly with the new design and fits snugly inside. One significant advantage of this upgrade is that it's lighter. The weight decreases from 114 grams to 77 grams, resulting in reduced wobble. Important: Please read the printing instructions carefully. I've oriented the parts for optimal results, so please don't rotate them during printing. Instead, print them as they are with supports enabled. Make sure to banish the brackets from the fixing holes and especially from the cooling nose (refer to the Cura slicer picture and disable supports accordingly). You can print in PLA, but I strongly recommend using PETG for its superior heat resistance. Don't forget to secure a cable-lock as shown in the photo surrounded by red. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.
