Anycubic Chiron Spring-based Damping Feet
thingiverse
I came across a design on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkXj9_80x1PquHxWZtT-6Hg check the videos about the Chiron - I'm not sure which one specifically it was...) a couple of months ago and decided to create my own feet for the Chiron using Fusion360 to get some extra practice. The design consists of four main parts: - upper disc - spring, or "puffer" - lower disc - damper pad underneath (see cross section for details) I printed the "puffer" in TPU (using some older FlexiSmart stuff I found on Amazon) just in case you don't have a suitable spring available. The stiffness of the buffer can be controlled by adjusting the infill percentage - mine is set to 50% and works great. The setup won't completely stop the Chiron from wobbling around, but it does show some noticeable improvements when printing at 60mm/s. Oh, and one more thing: you'll need four of them.
