I had a problem with cables getting stuck at the back of my printer when retracting the build plate, so I looked up some solutions but found them too expensive to implement. To solve this issue on my own, I designed and printed a modification myself. The idea is to use two-way tape to secure the cables in place. It's not perfect, as there are still some improvements that could be made, but it was a simple solution that worked for me. Before printing, take a close look at the part to make sure everything fits together correctly. I printed this at 60 mm/s, which is the recommended speed for my Chiron printer, and used 40% infill to save time. If you choose different settings, your print times may vary. Without finding a solution like this, I was constantly frustrated by cables shifting during prints, causing them to fail. If you're experiencing any issues with your own prints, don't hesitate to ask for help.
