Anycubic Chiron PIP Cable Chain
thingiverse
This is a print-in-place (PIP) chain designed to work seamlessly with the Anycubic Z-axis mounts from the Anycubic Chiron cable management Pt. 1 design found at the link below. A single link of a chain was included in the files I used as the baseline for the design, which underwent some minor modifications. The chain is optimized to be printed at 0.2 layer height and prints without supports just fine, but you can use supports if desired to improve bridging - make sure to customize support location specifically to the bridging section between chain walls. There are three versions available: the original chain design, a slightly improved version (V1.1), and V2. The V2 features several improvements. The top bridge section is now recessed to prevent snagging on itself and is removable, eliminating the need to disconnect cables and route them through. However, V2 may push your printer to its limits. I used the Prusa slicer with approximately 35mm print speed and 0.2mm layer height. For bridges, I printed at 20mm speed. Everything else was normal, but results may vary. A pro tip for testing: drop the single-chain link down into the print bed so only the top portion is visible above the bed. This will allow you to test print the most challenging part of the chain link and determine if adjustments are needed without having to print the entire object. This chain will likely not be upgraded further. If any improvements are made, they will be included in my project below. Please check out my Anycubic Chiron comprehensive upgrades project at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3903504 - a compilation of files from other projects that I have improved or deemed critical for the improvement of the Chiron.
