Anycubic Chiron hotend housing V3 / Hotend Gehäuse v3
thingiverse
This is a remix based on [Chiron hotend housing for silent fan and optimised cablechain](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3326593) from [bmwoholic](https://www.thingiverse.com/bmwoholic). Improvements: - Additional mount at the lower right side (uses the original thread) - Counter-nuts M3 for the fan duct - Fan duct mount is situated a bit higher to avoid collisions - Fan duct is 6mm nearer to the nozzle - Place for a small LED including switch - Cable mount after the cable chain goes upwards for better fixing As in the "original", you may use 40mm fans. (40x40x10 for hotend as original, 40x40x20 for item cooling in my setup) To complete the shown setup you will also need to print the fan duct and fan cover from [Anycubic Chiron simple 40mm fan mount ](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130556). I put a 1,8mm LED below the hotend fan, maybe you won't need that. For me it looks cool and you may check details very good while the printing process. The LED is connected to the hotend fan, so it is activated when the hotend heats up. I also uploaded a Version without the hole for the switch if you don't need it. With 0.15mm layer and 60mm/s the print of the housing will take about 8h and 20m/57g PLA (1.75mm). The housing shown at the photo was printed with 0.3mm so your print may look smoother than mine. Happy printing and show me your results! If you find details to improve the housing, let me know!
