Anycubic Chiron Hemera Mount
thingiverse
E3D Hemera mount is designed specifically for Anycubic Chiron, featuring a bolt-on installation that integrates seamlessly with the stock X-axis carriage. The mount comes equipped with a built-in holder for the stock bed level probe, but users will need to use longer screws for the fan and extend the probe wires to utilize it effectively. To cater to individual needs, I've included the Fusion 360 file, allowing for modifications and adjustments as desired. Nozzle Z-height is remarkably close to its stock counterpart, with minor tweaks possible for X and Y offset calibration. For optimal support, supports should be placed solely on the build plate, ensuring they cover the underside of screw holes. Build Notes offer crucial insights: An extra hole beneath the extruder motor was initially intended for a heat-set threaded insert but ultimately proved unnecessary. The two stock extruder mount screw holes require M3 nuts to be securely fastened from the back side. To ensure proper installation, the motor must first be attached to the mount without the extruder, followed by mounting this assembly to the carriage. Once in place, the extruder can be securely attached to the motor. A small amount of hot glue should be applied to the end of the PCB slot to maintain its position. Additionally, users will need to extend and re-route the motor wires for the extruder to achieve the correct spinning direction. Most layer cooling fan designs can be easily integrated with this mount.
