I want to repurpose my mirrored (left) all-metal BMG bowden extruder as a direct drive unit. I'm basing the build on piceegdali's carriage and adapting it for use with this extruder. The screw connection between the extruder and hotend is necessary because this particular extruder only has an M10 threaded outlet. Fortunately, the x-limit switch remains functional. Hotends V5 / V6 and Volcano are compatible with this setup, and a BLTouch can be installed. However, I won't be using the stock level sensor in this version, possibly reserving it for future modifications.
