I really appreciate the original concept behind the Makerbot Replicator 2 series by UoBQuantumMatter - it's a great idea. However, I have to admit that it just didn't work out for my 4MAX printer at all, so I decided to start from scratch using FreeCad to create my own model. To assemble it, I simply used the same screws that hold the front panel in place, and now my workspace is much neater with no sd cards cluttering up the area. If you're interested in making one yourself, feel free to post your design - I'd love to see how it turns out!
