Anycubic 4Max Deckel / cover
thingiverse
Here is a great lid for the 4Max! It's actually the cover of a distribution box that can be easily converted with some skill. The screw holes need to be enlarged (hence the scratches in the corners) and if you want the lid to seal tightly on the top aluminum plate, the guiding rails on the sides need to be removed. I did it with my drill press, but it should also be possible with a saw or file! Through the lid, the printer becomes significantly quieter and cooler despite new fans and stepper motors! You will still need 4x M3 screws / nut and some skill. It's actually the cover of an electrical distribution box from Hensel Typ Mi0200. The entire enclosure costs around €100, but you might get lucky and find one used or as a replacement part somewhere!
